Congratulations to my wonderful Dad! Today will be his first Monday as a retiree. What a nice feeling it must be to get up on Monday morning and not have the obligation of work. Although in true Egon fashion, he will probably be busier then ever in his retirement, likely even busier then he was while working. No one would be surprised by this in the least.
As a matter of fact, Jacob shares his love of constant motion. We are lucky to get him to sit still for 2 minutes and because of this Billy sometimes refers to Jake as "little Egon". Thanks a lot Dad.
The very best part is this will give my Dad lots of Grandpa time and we are excitedly expecting a visit from my parents next season in France. I cannot wait.
Yes! I love this picture! Now all Jake needs is a fishing and hunting license!
ReplyDeleteWell Kaity, we actually have Jake enrolled in his Hunter's Safety Course beginning in May, right before our big trip to Howard Lake.
