I finished all of the books I packed for France several weeks ago and desperately need to order some more.  Many of them were alright but not really worth recommending; this one however was a such a joy. 

The Flying Troutmans by Miriam Towes

This book is very unique and well written.  The characters are eccentric and completely lovable and the story is both hilarious and a little heartbreaking.  A wonderful read. 

Verdict: Loved it
