Not a day goes by when I do not see numerous people walking down the street carrying giant baguettes. Until living in France I thought that this was just a stereotype you see in movies. It is not. People consume a LOT of baguettes here and it is very common to see someone carrying one, two, three or more.
I guess it was only a matter of time before we jumped onto the baguette bandwagon. With two boulangerie's on our block it was probably inevitable. When in France do what the French do, buy a baguette.
